I wouldn't recommend it either. Joe is right it's dirty and there's no value on the food menu. Plus there's an overnight fee unless you fuel there I think minimum is 75 gal.

Old, old school truck stop. Pay to park. 1st 3 hours free. Trailer Wash Out available. Really good restaurant. In the years past it was a Union 76. Big orange ball in the sky. Yes, I remember them.

I loved this place! The parking lot is HUGE and can fit sooo many trucks in there. The facility is beautiful as well. The washrooms are out of this world! This will be my parking place in Chicago in the future as well! It’s so convenient to reach. As far as the $12 fee, don’t be stingy! It’s worth it to spend that money for convenience of parking and getting really good facilities. Truckers make sufficient money to afford the fee. It’s really difficult to find truck parking in Chicago and there’s no guarantee you will find parking there if you go even if they offer free parking. Heck, FJ charges $17 for parking.

Johnny the Mechanic is great. One man show basically. So there will be a wait but he is good. Extremely fair. The Fuel desk friendly but Slow. Small but coszy tv room. Trucker lounge bathrooms nice. Take care of them. $12 parking after 3 hrs. Free with x gal of fuel.

I don’t have much to comment on as I was in/ out however I do appreciate a clean and fully stocked environment. Gentleman at the front greeted me , bathrooms are extremely clean and fully renovated. Also a Restaurant inside

Restaurant has good food with affordable prices. Charge for parking after 3 hours. I parked in a spot across from the scales, no signage no markings on the pavement. Came out and a big orange violation sticker plastered on my window. Have know idea why it what??

This is a very convenient truck stop. Everything you need is here and they offer a free 3 hours of parking, 12$ for up to 24 hours after that. Can't beat that with a stick

Easy in easy out for fueling now that all there pumps are updated. Don't much care for the overnight parking fee. Decent restaurant
